Azerbaijanis entitled to live on historical lands, including Zangezur - envoy

“We have the right to live on our historical lands, including Zangezur” Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkey Rashad Mammadov said this on Haber Global.

Azerbaijan invites the Armenian residents of Garabagh to stay and live on, Report says.

“But we also intend to live on our historical lands, including in Zangezur. The international community and Armenia must ensure this right.”

The diplomat also added that the Azerbaijani law-enforcement agencies have information about all the perpetrators of crimes committed in Garabagh since 1991.

“Three war criminals have already been detained and taken to Baku. We will bring to justice all those responsible for war crimes. There is still a lot of work ahead. All state structures of Azerbaijan, including the Foreign Ministry, are involved in these activities.”
