Armenian leadership, opposition trade accusations over events in Garabagh
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan blamed the parliamentary opposition for the events in Garabagh during the government hour in the National Assembly.
This is how he reacted to the remarks of Artur Khachatryan, a deputy from the "Armenia" bloc and member of ARF Dashnaktsutyun, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.
The prime minister accused his opponents of jeopardising "the Garabagh authorities by welcoming the change of leadership and thus provoking hostilities".
The head of the Armenian government believes that the opposition's plan was to involve the Republic of Armenia in the conflict, as a result of which the Armenians of Garabagh "would not have had the opportunity to move to Armenia, but would have gone to Paris, Boston, Los Angeles, to strengthen the ranks of the ARF".
The premier accused the opposition of pursuing a policy detrimental to the country. When the current parliamentary opposition was in power, they did everything so that the country would not be independent, he said.
