Azerbaijan-Iran trade turnover approaches $400 million

Azerbaijan's trade turnover with Iran amounted to $394.97 million from January to October 2023.

This figure decreased by 3.2 per cent or by $12.8 million as compared to the same period of last year, APA reports, citing the State Customs Committee.

Over the 10 months of this year, products worth $12.28 million were exported from Azerbaijan to Iran, and products worth $382.69 million were exported from Iran to Azerbaijan.

Thus, in annual comparison, Azerbaijan's exports to Iran decreased by 45.8 per cent, and Iran's exports to Azerbaijan - by 0.6 per cent.

During the reporting period, Iran accounted for 0.04 per cent of Azerbaijan's total exports and 2.7 per cent of its imports.

Agricultural and food products, detergents, construction materials, etc. were mainly imported from Iran.
