Turkish Solitek manufactures solar panels for Karabakh

Solar energy in the Karabakh region will be collected and stored using panels manufactured by the Turkish engineering, energy, and electrical company Solitek.

The Adana-based company is exporting energy storage panels and automation software to Azerbaijan to be used in base stations to meet the solar energy needs of rural areas of the Karabakh region, Anadolu reports.

The panel, containing lithium iron phosphate batteries, will store the unused portion of the energy collected in sunny weather and power the base station at night.

Solitek, which won the tender about 2.5 months ago, has completed production of 25 of the 33 panels and automation systems that it has already sent to Azerbaijan.
