Analyst Gasparyan: No one asks Armenia's opinion
Armenia is 80 per cent connected to the EAEU and Russia in infrastructure, energy and markets. Starting with nuclear energy, everything is linked to Russia, even if Armenia buys French Bastions and radars like those that, by the way, Armenia produced during the first war. What will this do to Armenia's economy?
According to Caliber.Az, Abraham Gasparyan, head of Genesis Armenia think tank, raied the question in his interview with Armenian media.
"Keep in mind that France will not provide offensive weapons to Armenia. They provided radars under the guise of 'aid'. The West is tasking Pashinyan to do two important things before they reach their ultimate goal. Armenia must officially achieve the severance of all institutional ties with Russia, that is, withdraw from the CSTO and EAEU, and tear up the 1997 agreement on the Armenian-Russian union," he said.
