President Vucic: Azerbaijan true friend of Serbia

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has said that Azerbaijan remains a true friend of Serbia.

Vucic made the remarks after the ceremony of launching the Serbia-Bulgaria gas interconnector in the Serbian city of Nis, Report informs.

The Serbia-Bulgaria Gas Interconnector is very important for Serbia. It has enabled diversifying gas supplies and obtaining alternative sources of gas.

According to him, it will now allow Serbia to receive liquefied gas from six or seven sources: "This includes the terminal in Alexandroupolis. All this will further ensure Serbia's energy security. Azerbaijan remains a true friend of Serbia".
