American Airlines halts flights to Israel until April 2025 amid ongoing conflict
American Airlines has suspended all flights to and from Israel, with no direct flights available for booking until April 2025.
This suspension follows the onset of the Iron Swords War and remains in effect as the airline’s flights have been removed from the booking systems, Caliber.Az reports, citing Israeli media.
Currently, American Airlines’ website and reservation centre offer no direct flight options to Israel for the upcoming winter months. This move is consistent with the broader trend among US-based airlines, all of which have halted flights to Israel. However, some other US airlines had continued operations during the early stages of the conflict.
Travel agents and sources informed Israel Hayom that American Airlines flights have been entirely removed from their system. Despite attempts to get a statement from the airline’s Israeli representatives, no response has been received.
Efforts to book flights through American Airlines’ reservation centre for December revealed that no direct flights are available, contrary to earlier plans to resume operations by late October. Similarly, searches on the airline’s website confirm the absence of direct flight options to Israel.
