ANAMA chairman urges public to be vigilant in face of mine risk
Chairman of Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) Board Vugar Suleymanov has urged the public to be extremely careful while travelling to mined territories.
In an appeal, addressed to the citizens in connection with mine danger, the chairman expressed regret over the incidents with mine blasts involving citizens that have occurred in recent days, Report informs.
“Over the past week, there have been several similar cases. Despite educational measures, warnings and signs of danger, people travel to these areas. Taking this opportunity, I once again address our citizens with an appeal to be extremely careful. I ask them to follow the established rules and refrain from illegal visits to the territories liberated from occupation,” Suleymanov noted.
