Great Return: Azerbaijan’s Khojaly welcomes new residents PHOTO / UPDATED
New groups of former internally displaced persons have commenced returning to the Khojaly district, arriving in the villages of Dashbulag and Badara as part of ongoing resettlement efforts.
Nine families, totaling 31 individuals, have settled in Dashbulag, while six families, comprising 19 people, have relocated to Badara, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Another group of former internally displaced persons (IDPs) has departed for permanent settlement in the villages of Dashbulag and Badara in the Khojaly district, as well as Vangli village in the Aghdara district.
According to the latest data, nine families comprising 31 people are resettling in Dashbulag, six families (19 people) in Badara, and 11 families (45 people) in Vanglim, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
With this latest relocation, the total number of families who have returned to Dashbulag has reached 30 (122 people), to Badara – 37 (136 people), and to Vangli – 96 (374 people).
The resettlement is being carried out within the framework of Azerbaijan’s Great Return program, launched following the end of the occupation in November 2020 and the restoration of the country’s territorial integrity. The large-scale state program aims to ensure the safe and dignified return of IDPs to their revitalized ancestral lands.
