Another person suffers in mine explosion in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam

Thirty-seven-year-old employee of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) Khayyam Aliyev suffered as a result of a mine explosion on April 2.

The incident occurred during the mine clearance work in Sarijali village of the Aghdam district, liberated from occupation, Caliber.Az reports citing the Aghdam district prosecutor's office.

Aliyev's condition is satisfactory.

An investigation is underway at the Aghdam District Prosecutor's Office.

Earlier, a landmine detonated in Chayli village of the Tartar district, leaving three wounded.

Polad Ismayilov, 55, Arzuman Taghizade, 32, and Elmir Baghirov, 18, were grazing animals.
