Armenian armed gangs in Garabagh resort to consecutive provocations
On September 17, at about 11:15 pm, illegal Armenian armed detachments in the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeeping forces are temporarily deployed, attempted to dig a trench in front of the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of the Aghdam region.
The purpose for the illegal work was a preparation for engineering fortifications, the Defence Ministry of Azerbaijan reported.
The conducted work was immediately stopped as a result of the urgent measures taken by the Azerbaijan Army Units.
Earlier in the day, at about 5:45 pm, illegal Armenian armed detachments in the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeeping forces are temporarily deployed, targeted the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of the Aghdam region.
The Azerbaijan Army Units took adequate retaliatory measures in the mentioned direction.
