Armenian forces target Azerbaijani army positions in three directions
Starting from the evening of July 30, and during the night of July 31, units of the Armed Forces of Armenia fired intensively from small arms at the positions of the Azerbaijani army, located in the Gadabay and Kalbajar districts on the Armenia-Azerbaijan state border.
The incident was confirmed by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan in an official statement on July 31, Caliber.Az reports.
In addition, the illegal Armenian armed formations settled in the territory of Azerbaijan, monitored temporarily by the Russian peacekeeping contingent, used small arms and sniper rifles of various calibres to target the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the direction of the settlement of Amiranlar in the Khojavand district.
Appropriate response measures have been taken by the Azerbaijani military to suppress the offensive.
