Armenian PM off to St. Petersburg for CIS leaders’ informal meeting
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has departed from Prague en route to St. Petersburg to attend an informal CIS summit.
He is expected to arrive in St. Petersburg immediately after the European Political summit in Prague on October 7, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
On October 6, a quadrilateral meeting was held on the summit’s sidelines between Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, French President Emmanuel Macron and European Council President Charles Michel.
In addition, as part of the summit, a bilateral meeting took place between Pashinyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The last informal meeting of the leaders of the CIS countries was held in St. Petersburg on December 28, 2021.
