Armenian soldier injured by gunshot, undergoes surgery

An Armenian soldier was hospitalised after sustaining a gunshot wound and has undergone surgery. His condition is stable, and his life is not at risk.

The Ministry of Defence of Armenia confirmed the incident, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.

According to the ministry, the soldier was injured at a position in the Gegharkunik region, near Bashkend. The exact circumstances of the incident remain unclear.

A criminal case has been initiated, and authorities are conducting an investigation.
