Armenian special services conduct house-to-house searches
Employees of the National Security Service of Armenia have searched a house of Suren Manukyan, a member of the Supreme Council of the "Dashnaktsutyun" Party (also known as "Armenian Revolutionary Federation", "ARF"), who is also an MP at the National Assembly.
Earlier, the Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia issued a statement according to which, a search was conducted at the residence of the chairman of the Armavir regional body of the ARF party, on May 6, Caliber.Az reports, referring to the Armenian media.
Notebooks with handwritten notes which contained information about bribing voters during the 2021 National Assembly elections and local government elections were found during the raid.
The raids took place in a number of offices of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun party in the Armavir region, as well as in the apartments of over a dozen members of the same regional structure, including office coordinators and a group of people who actively participated in the election campaign. Various lists were discovered and seized, as a result.
