Iran places stickers with Spanish prime minister's quote on missiles
In Iran, missiles were displayed with stickers featuring Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and his anti-war quote.
According to El Mundo, the stickers carry an inscription in English and Farsi quoting Sánchez at the EU summit in Brussels: “Of course, this war is not only illegal, but inhumane.” The phrase “Thank you, Prime Minister” was also added.

Photos were published by the Iranian news agency Tasnim, which stated that the missiles “will soon be launched toward the occupied territories,” referring to Israel. Meanwhile, Press TV released a video showing the process of placing the stickers on the missiles.
Earlier, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian praised Sánchez’s position, noting his “responsible conduct” and criticism of the actions of the U.S. and Israel.
It is worth recalling that Spain refused to provide its military bases for U.S. strikes against Iran, after which U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to halt trade with the country. Sánchez had previously stated that Washington’s actions against Iran violated international law.
