ASTRA: Russia targets journalist living abroad in “foreign agent” case PHOTO
Russian authorities have issued an in absentia arrest warrant for journalist Ksenia Larina under legislation pertaining to “foreign agents.”
The decision was confirmed by the press service of the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow, ASTRA reports.
The journalist’s legal name is Oksana Barsheva.
According to available information, she was placed on a wanted list in November 2025.
At the end of September 2025, investigators opened a criminal case against Larina under the “foreign agent” statute. The Moscow branch of the Investigative Committee said she is suspected of “evading the fulfilment of obligations stipulated by the legislation of the Russian Federation on foreign agents.”

Larina is currently residing outside the Russian Federation.
