Azerbaijan advances construction of Aghdam–Khankandi railway VIDEO

Azerbaijan Railways CJSC is continuing construction of the Aghdam–Khankandi railway line, with 43% of the project now complete, according to the company’s press office.
The project includes the development of new stations in Askaran and Khojaly, as well as a combined railway and bus terminal complex in Khankandi. The transport hub, located along the banks of the Gargarchay River, will cover a total area of 6.4 hectares, Caliber.Az reports.
Once completed, the Khankandi complex is expected to feature two railway platforms and 12 bus stops, aiming to improve regional connectivity and support integrated passenger transport.
Azerbaijan Railways has also released video footage showing progress on the construction work.
