Azerbaijan boosts electricity production

"During two months of this year, electricity production from TPPs amounted to 4998.8 million kWh, and from renewable sources, including hydropower to 178.1 million kWh," Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov wrote on Twitter, Caliber.Az reports.

"According to operational data, electricity production in the country increased by 5.8 per cent to 5,176.9 million kWh compared to the same period last year. Electricity exports amounted to 840 million kWh and imports to 21 million kWh," he said.
