Azerbaijani businessmen join food expo in Riyadh, eye similar events in Russia, China, Germany
Azerbaijani companies are taking part in the Saudi Food Show 2025 in Riyadh with a unified national stand.
This announcement was made by Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), during the opening ceremony of the Caspian Agro and InterFood Azerbaijan exhibitions in Baku on May 13, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Starting tomorrow, May 14, Azerbaijani exporters will also participate in the Russia Halal Expo 2025 in Kazan.
According to Abdullayev, Azerbaijani entrepreneurs are also scheduled to take part in upcoming international exhibitions with a unified national stand throughout 2025. These include WorldFood Moscow 2025, the 8th China International Import Expo in Shanghai, and Anuga in Cologne.
"As for local exhibitions, we plan to participate in the 5th Rebuild Karabakh exhibition, which will be held in October," he added.
Abdullayev also noted that at today’s InterFood exhibition, eight companies are represented under the AZPROMO ‘Made in Azerbaijan’ stand. These companies operate in the production of natural honey, fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, alcoholic beverages, wines, and dairy products.
Notably, the Saudi Food Show is the largest food and beverage (F&B) trade event in Saudi Arabia, held annually at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center. The 2025 edition takes place from May 12 to 14, bringing together over 1,300 global brands and exhibitors from more than 100 countries. The event serves as a premier platform for showcasing the latest trends, innovations, and opportunities in the F&B sector, aligning with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals for economic diversification and food security.
