Azerbaijan calls on UNESCO to stop destruction of cultural heritage in Armenia

Representatives of Azerbaijani civil society (NGOs) have sent an open letter to UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay in connection with the Tapabashi neighbourhood and called for action to stop the destruction of the material cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people in Armenia.

In Armenia, where Azerbaijanis historically lived, a policy of destruction of all cultural heritage belonging to Azerbaijanis was pursued, and an attempt was made to erase the historical traces of Azerbaijani people, Caliber.Az reports.
