Azerbaijani president's aide holds strategic talks with German foreign ministry official

Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, held talks in Berlin with Géza Andreas von Geyr, State Secretary of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.

According to Caliber.Az, Hajiyev shared details of the meeting on his X page.

“We discussed with Dr. Géza Andreas von Geyr, State Secretary at the MFA of Germany, regional issues, consolidation of peace in the region and bilateral agenda, including connectivity projects,” Hajiyev wrote.

Hajiyev added that, “Azerbaijan has always had friendly and good relations with Germany.”
