Azerbaijan clears Garabagh region of mines following anti-terror measures

After local anti-terror measures in the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan, engineer-sapper units of the Azerbaijani Army are clearing the territory of mines and unexploded ordnance.

The formations of the Armenian armed forces established a defence line in the south of Charaktar village of the Kalbajar district and planted numerous mines in this direction after the 44-day second Garabagh war, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

Numerous anti-personnel and anti-tank mines produced in Armenia were neutralised in compliance with safety regulations on September 21.

The Azerbaijani Army engineer-sapper units continue clearing Azerbaijani territories of mines.
