Azerbaijan clears over 1,455 hectares of mines

The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has released its weekly report detailing ongoing demining operations in liberated territories. 

According to ANAMA, between April 13 and 19, demining activities were carried out across multiple districts, including Tartar, Aghdam, Kalbajar, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil, Khojaly, Khojavand, Gazakh, Zangilan districts, as well as the city of Khankendi, Caliber.Az reports. 

During the reporting period, authorities said 62 anti-personnel mines, 17 anti-tank mines, and 460 items of unexploded ordnance were detected and neutralised.

In total, 1,455.4 hectares of land were cleared of mines and other explosive remnants of war.
