Azerbaijan completes rescue operation near Khankendi Forty-eight bodies of the dead were recovered PHOTO/VIDEO

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations has completed a search and rescue operation over a fire and explosion at a gas station near the city of Khankendi.

The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations told Caliber.Az that as a result of the operation carried out by rescuers of the ministry, the bodies of 48 people were removed from the rubble and handed over to their intended destination.

Necessary security measures were also taken at the scene.
