Azerbaijan resettles dozens of families in Aghdara, Khojaly districts Updated
Relocation convoys have arrived in several villages in Azerbaijan’s Aghdara and Khojaly districts as part of an ongoing resettlement programme.
The villages involved include Vangli, Childiran, Ashagi Oratagh, Heyvali and Chapar in Aghdara district, as well as Dashbulag in Khojaly district, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
According to officials, the latest phase of the programme saw four families comprising 18 people resettled in Vangli, while two families (five people) were moved to Childiran. In Ashagi Oratagh, nine families totaling 56 people were relocated, alongside three families (13 people) in Heyvali and two families (six people) in Chapar. One family of four was resettled in Dashbulag.
A ceremony marking the arrivals was attended by representatives of the Office of the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan for Khankendi city, Aghdara and Khojaly districts, as well as officials from the State Committee on Issues of Refugees and Forcibly Displaced Persons.

Azerbaijan has continued its resettlement programme, relocating several families to villages in the Aghdara district and Khojaly district as part of ongoing efforts to return displaced residents to their homes.
Families were resettled in the villages of Vangli, Childiran, Ashagi Oratagh, Heyvali, and Chapar in Aghdara district, as well as Dashbulag in Khojaly district, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Those relocated had previously been living in temporary accommodation across the country, including dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
