Azerbaijan creates over 800 new jobs in Karabakh since early 2024
As many as 840 new jobs were created in Azerbaijan's liberated territories in the first half of 2024.
According to a report by the State Statistical Committee, this figure represents a 42% increase compared to the same period last year, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
In the first half of 2023, 593 new jobs were created in these areas.
From January to June 2024, the highest number of jobs was created in Lachin (299) and Shusha (232).
During the specified period, 159 new enterprises and organizations were registered in the liberated areas, along with 1,726 private business entities, marking an increase of 90 and 488, respectively, compared to the same period in 2023.
