Azerbaijan expands military infrastructure in Karabakh PHOTO
New military infrastructure facilities are being developed in the Karabakh region as Azerbaijan continues efforts to strengthen the material and technical base of its armed forces, according to the Ministry of Defence.
The work is being carried out under the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Defence Ministry.
The ministry’s leadership inspected ongoing construction and major renovation works at military units and a training centre located in the liberated territories.
Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov was briefed that the new facilities, built with high-quality materials, are designed to improve living and service conditions for personnel and to enhance operational readiness and combat effectiveness.
The Defence Ministry leadership also issued instructions to ensure the timely completion of all construction and repair works while maintaining high-quality standards.
