Azerbaijan files criminal case into mine explosion killing Azerbaijani servicemen
The Aghdam Military Prosecutor’s Office has launched a criminal case into the mine explosion that wounded and killed Azerbaijani servicemen.
On September 24, the Military Prosecutor's Office received information that Azerbaijani army servicemen Akram Shadmanov and Tural Seyidov were killed, and Elvin Aliyev was injured as a result of a mine explosion in the Aghdam region.
Proceeding from the information, preliminary procedures were carried out by representatives of the Department of Criminalistics and Information Technology of the Military Prosecutor's Office and the Aghdam Military Prosecutor's Office, Caliber.Az reports.
The Aghdam Military Prosecutor's Office initiated a criminal case under Article 29,120.2.12 (attempted murder upon national, racial, religious hatred or enmity), 120.2.12 (premeditated murder upon national, racial, religious hatred or enmity) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, witnesses were interrogated, appropriate expertise was arranged and other necessary investigative procedures were carried out.
The investigation is currently underway and all necessary measures will be taken in accordance with legal requirements.
