Azerbaijan holding Turkic business forum in Shusha
A Turkic business forum, dedicated to the restoration and development of the liberated Azerbaijani territories, is being held in Shusha on September 16.
The forum is co-organised by the Organisation of Turkic States, the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy, the Azerbaijan Small and Medium Business Development Agency, and the Azerbaijan National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organisations, Report informs.
Along with Azerbaijan, the representatives of state agencies, as well as various organisations and the diplomatic corps, businessmen of four permanent members of the Organisation of the Turkic States, namely, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, as well as Hungary - an observer country - are participating in the event.
The purpose of the forum is to further intensify economic, business, and investment ties among the Turkic states, promote dialogue among entrepreneurs and inform foreign businessmen about the economic and investment potential of the Karabakh region.
Officials are expected to deliver speeches, while bilateral meetings, a special session on "Investment opportunities in the Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions" are planned to be held at the forum.
