Azerbaijan inaugurates Khankendi Medical Centre PHOTO

Azerbaijan has officially inaugurated the Khankendi Medical Centre on June 25, government officials have stated.

The opening ceremony was attended by officials from the Special Representation of the President of Azerbaijan in Khankendi, Aghdara and Khojaly, as well as representatives of the medical sector and guests, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service for Khankendi, Aghdara and Khojaly said the event also featured a scientific and practical conference held on the sidelines of the proceedings.

Participants heard presentations on the development of the healthcare sector and the organisation of modern medical services, while a series of panel discussions focused on current challenges and future priorities in healthcare.
