Azerbaijan Innovation Centre to open regional hub in Ganja soon
Head of the Azerbaijan Innovation Centre Elvin Hajiyev has said that a regional hub is planned to be opened in Ganja city in the second quarter of 2025.
Hajiyev made these remarks during the presentation of Azerbaijan's first national cryptocurrency, Caliber.Az reports.
“Last October, the first Azerbaijani Innovation Centre was opened in Baku. In December, a similar centre began operations in Sumgayit. The next centre is expected to be launched in Ganja in the second quarter of this year,” he added.
The inaugural ceremony of the Azerbaijan Innovation Centre was held in Baku on October 2, 2024. The centre was established by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency under the Digital Development and Transport Ministry of Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijan Innovation Centre serves as a hub for technology entrepreneurs, startups, and innovators.
