Azerbaijan deepens cooperation with Jordan, Guinea-Bissau in Antalya forum PHOTO
Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held talks with Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. The meeting focused on the development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Jordan, as well as the situation in the Middle East.
Both sides stressed the importance of strengthening friendly and partnership-based relations, expanding cooperation within international organizations, and further deepening mutual support in multilateral platforms, including the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Non-Aligned Movement, and others, Caliber.Az reports via the ministry.
The ministers also discussed in detail the security situation in the Middle East, agreeing that the resolution of crises should be pursued exclusively through political and diplomatic means, and expressed hope for positive outcomes from ongoing dialogue and negotiations. Additional issues of mutual interest were also exchanged during the meeting.

Bayramov also met with Guinea-Bissau’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Communities João Bernardo Vieira, on the sidelines of the same forum.
The two sides discussed prospects for expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation across political, economic, humanitarian, tourism, energy, and other sectors.
They highlighted the importance of continued collaboration within international organizations, particularly the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Non-Aligned Movement.
The meeting also emphasized the need to strengthen economic and trade relations, share experience in natural resource development and public service delivery, and enhance the use of scholarship programs and other opportunities in education and professional training.
Azerbaijan’s special interest in further developing ties with African countries, including Guinea-Bissau, was also underlined, while the sides exchanged views on other matters of mutual concern.
