The remark came from Anar Najafli, Spokesperson for the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads, Caliber.Az reports.
He revealed that the road's total length will span 80 kilometres, with a width of 9 metres and shoulders extending to 15 metres, making it a two-lane thoroughfare.
The project involves extensive excavation, road base laying, levelling of terrain, blasting of obstructive rocks, and installation of drainage pipes to ensure durability and functionality.
Furthermore, the road will feature the construction of six bridges to facilitate seamless transportation across various terrains.
The Sugovushan-Sarsang reservoir-Gozlukorpu-Kalbajar route is part of ongoing initiatives in the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions. These endeavours are integral to the socio-economic revitalization of towns, districts, and villages liberated from years of Armenian occupation.
