Azerbaijan laying new roads in liberated Lachin PHOTO

Azerbaijan is actively engaged in laying new roads in the Lachin district, which was liberated from decades-long Armenian occupation following the 44-day Second Karabakh War of 2020.

The statement came from Spokesman for the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads Anar Najafli, Caliber.Az informs.

Within this framework, the inner-city roads of Lachin, as well as the roads leading to the new airport being built in the area, are being restored.

The total length of the roads is 59 kilometres with a width of 3-3.5 metres, he said, adding that the roads will be widened where possible.
