Azerbaijan, Poland discuss expansion of tourism ties

Chairman of the Board of "Association of Travel Agencies of Azerbaijan" Goydaniz Gahramanov discussed the expansion of tourism ties between Azerbaijan and Poland with the Polish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Rafal Poborski on September 21.

The views on the issues of expanding and developing cooperation between tourism organisations of the two countries, organising info tours for representatives of travel companies, increasing the number of mutual tourist trips and etc. were exchanged during the meeting, Report informs referring to the Association.

Gahramanov noted that an increase in the number of direct flights between Azerbaijan and Poland will have a positive impact on tourism ties and the number of tourists.

The ambassador noted that Poland is interested in expanding and developing mutual ties in the tourism sector.

Note that LOT Polish Airlines has been operating regular Warsaw-Baku-Warsaw flights since May 2022.
