Azerbaijan presidential aide shares AnewZ documentary on Shusha Prison VIDEO

Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, has shared an AnewZ documentary on Shusha Prison via his official X account.

The documentary, titled "Inside Shusha Prison: A Witness to Horror," features Lithuanian war correspondent Richardas Lapaitis, who explores the history of the prison and recounts testimonies from former Azerbaijani prisoners of war.

In the film, Lapaitis describes the prison as a place marked by torture, starvation, and psychological terror. Walking through its narrow cells, solitary confinement units, and the structure referred to as the "coffin in the wall," he reflects on the accounts of former detainees and the suffering the site continues to symbolise.
