Azerbaijan receives over 1,300 appeals on business creation in Karabakh

To date, more than 1,300 applications have been received to establish a business in Azerbaijan's territories liberated from Armenia's decades-long occupation.

The chairman of the Management Board of the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Businesses (KOBIA) Orkhan Mammadov made the statement at the Forum of Young Entrepreneurs and Investments of Azerbaijan, organised by the Youth Forum of Islamic Cooperation (ICYF) and KOBIA in Baku, Report informs.

"Approximately 55 per cent of these applications came from foreign investors and enterprises. The appeals cover a fairly wide geography, including Europe, Asia and America, with a total of about 40 countries," he said.
