Azerbaijan records over 110 mine incidents beyond former line of contact in post-war period PHOTO

Of the 156 mine incidents that occurred in the period after the 2020 Second Karabakh War in Azerbaijan, 116 were recorded in territories located outside the former line of contact.

The statement came from the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA), Report informs.

There are accurate data on the mining of cemeteries located in the villages of Yusifjanli and Garahaji of the Aghdam region, Jojug Marjanli of the Jabrayil region, Suarasi of the Lachin region.

In 2021, two civilians were killed in the cemetery of the village of Yusifjanli, Aghdam region, two people were injured, on October 21, a mine exploded at the cemetery of the village of Suarasi, Lachin region, as a result of which one person died, another was injured.
