Azerbaijan refutes firing at Armenian positions
The Azerbaijani Defence Ministry has flatly denied an Armenian report about the alleged shelling of its positions and a car with Armenian servicemen by the national army.
The information spread by the Armenian Defence Ministry that on June 9 at 22:50 the Azerbaijani army units allegedly opened fire in the direction of Garayman village of the Basarkechar region with small arms and mortals is not true, Caliber.Az reports per the Defence Ministry.
Similarly, the ministry also stated that the information spread by the Armenian Defence Ministry about the shelling of a car with Armenian servicemen in the direction of Garayman village of Basarkechar region on June 9 at 18:30 by the Azerbaijani army is completely false and does not correspond to the reality.
