Azerbaijan, Romania discuss green energy transit across Black Sea to Europe
Azerbaijan and Romania have held talks on the green energy transit from Azerbaijan through the Black Sea to Europe.
The issue was discussed at the meeting with a delegation headed by Secretary General of the Government of Romania Marian Neacsu, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry.
Deputy Energy Minister Samir Valiyev spoke about the possibilities of cooperation on natural gas, and electricity, particularly on renewable energy sources.
Apart from traditional and renewable energy, the importance of developing cooperation in energy efficiency and energy regulation was mentioned.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Energy Ministry, the State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources, the Azerbaijani Energy Regulatory Agency, Azerenerji and Azerishig.
