Azerbaijan, Russia forge stronger educational partnerships

The Russian Ministry of Education recently convened to explore avenues for enhancing cooperation with Azerbaijan in the education sector.

The meeting featured State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, Andrey Korneev, alongside Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Science and Education, Firudin Gurbanov, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Korneev expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its support in promoting the Russian language and emphasized the Russian side's commitment to further educational collaboration with Azerbaijan, particularly in the professional development of educators.

The discussions focused significantly on advancing Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation in secondary vocational education. Additionally, Azerbaijan's delegation received an invitation to participate in the "Professionals" professional mastery championship scheduled for November in St. Petersburg.
