Azerbaijan–Russia trade turnover nearly halves in first quarter

The volume of mutual trade between Azerbaijan and Russia amounted to $746.78 million in January–March 2026, which is 1.9 times lower compared to the same period in 2025, according to data from the State Customs Committee.

Azerbaijan’s exports to Russia over the reporting period decreased by 4.3% to $223.75 million. The share of exports stood at 4.14% (compared to 3.66% in January–March 2025), Caliber.Az reports.

At the same time, imports from Russia fell 2.3 times to $523.03 million. The import share was 13.06%, compared to 21.15% in the same period last year.
