Azerbaijan, Egypt eye deeper cooperation across energy, trade, tourism sectors
Azerbaijan and Egypt have discussed expanding economic cooperation across multiple sectors during a meeting held on the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group.
Azerbaijan's Minister of Economу Mikayil Jabbarov said on X that he met with Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Ahmed Rostom.

He said the two sides discussed opportunities to unlock the potential of economic cooperation between their countries, including the establishment of business platforms to foster mutual engagement.
Jabbarov added that the talks covered prospects for cooperation in trade, investment, industry, energy, tourism and other sectors.
The meeting took place within the framework of the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group.
