New fuel and grain shipments sent from Azerbaijan to Armenia PHOTO

Azerbaijan continues exporting fuel to Armenia alongside transit cargo transportation through its territory.

According to local media, 17 rail wagons carrying diesel fuel, totaling around 1,000 tonnes, were dispatched to Armenia today, June 21.

In addition, another transit shipment of goods from Russia to Armenia was carried out via Azerbaijan. Eighteen wagons of grain, weighing 1,260 tonnes in total, were sent from the Bilajari station of the Azerbaijan Railways network toward Boyuk-Kasik station.

Authorities reported that more than 13,000 tonnes of diesel fuel and over 4,000 tonnes of petrol (AI-92 and AI-95) have been exported from Azerbaijan to Armenia to date. At the same time, transit shipments through Azerbaijan to Armenia have included over 32,000 tonnes of grain, 7,000 tonnes of fertilizers, 133 tonnes of aluminium, 68 tonnes of buckwheat, and 414 tonnes of anthracite from Russia.

Earlier shipments included a train of 31 wagons carrying 1,984 tonnes of diesel and 135 tonnes of fertilizers on March 5, as well as additional deliveries of 887 tonnes of diesel on April 11 and 479 tonnes on May 9.
