Azerbaijan, Turkic Investment Fund leadership advance cooperation agenda
Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov met with President of the Turkic Investment Fund Baghdad Amreyev and Director General Ramil Babayev, exploring avenues for cooperation in areas of mutual economic interest, investment opportunities, and the expansion of regional financial partnerships.

“During our meeting with Baghdad Amreyev, President of the Turkic Investment Fund and Director General Ramil Babayev, held within the framework of the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, we noted with satisfaction the diversification of our economic partnership with the Turkic states.
Discussions focused on institutional processes, strengthening regional #energy connectivity, promoting private sector development, advancing projects that support sustainable development, and enhancing cooperation with financial institutions.
We also highlighted that the agreement signed between the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector and the Turkic Investment Fund within the framework of the Annual Meetings will help deepen cooperation between the parties, promote public-private partnerships, and expand co-financing opportunities,” he wrote on X.
