Russia sends wheat to Armenia via Azerbaijan transit route
Another shipment of Russian goods is set to be transported to Armenia through Azerbaijan’s transit network.
On June 20, seven rail wagons carrying 490 tons of wheat from Russia will be dispatched to Armenia via Azerbaijani territory, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
This latest delivery is part of a broader flow of goods transiting through Azerbaijan to Armenia. So far, more than 29,000 tons of wheat, over 7,000 tons of fertiliser, 414 tons of anthracite coal, 133 tons of aluminium, and 68 tons of buckwheat have been transported along the route.
In addition to transit shipments, Azerbaijan has also exported petroleum products to Armenia. To date, these exports include more than 13,000 tons of diesel fuel, 979 tons of RON 92 gasoline, and 2,955 tons of RON 95 gasoline.
