Ukraine thanks Azerbaijan for energy equipment aid

Ukraine has thanked Azerbaijan for its assistance in providing energy equipment amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy said, in a post on X, that since the beginning of 2026, energy equipment has been provided to Ukraine by partners from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, the European Union, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, the United States, Canada, the Philippines, Japan, China, among others, Caliber.Az reports.

It noted that since March 2022, a total of 2,542 humanitarian shipments containing energy equipment, weighing more than 32,300 tonnes, have been delivered to Ukraine under the coordination of the country’s Ministry of Energy.

More than 28,900 tonnes of equipment have already been distributed among the regions.

“We are deeply grateful to all our partners for helping keep Ukraine’s energy system running,” the ministry added.
