Truck queue surges at Azerbaijan-Georgia border crossing

More than 1,000 cargo trucks are currently waiting to cross from Azerbaijan into Georgia, Azerbaijan’s Land Transport Agency said.

As Caliber.Az reports, citing the agency, 1,030 trucks are currently in line at the Red Bridge customs checkpoint on the Azerbaijan-Georgia border.

Meanwhile, significantly shorter queues have been reported at Azerbaijan’s other major land border crossings.

At the Astara customs checkpoint on the border with Iran, 37 cargo vehicles are awaiting their turn to cross.

Another 47 trucks are currently queued at the Samur customs checkpoint on Azerbaijan’s border with Russia.
