Azerbaijan’s AzTV channel head smashes Iran with "Are you afraid, Tehran?" question VIDEO

24 October 2022 11:49

The presenter, the head of the state-owned Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting (AzTV) company Rovshan Mammadov, has raised certain questions related to Iran.

“France, the OSCE can somehow be understood, to say that they are in solidarity with Armenia because of the Christian factor, one faith. But what happened to Iran? What is the basis of his aggressive attitude towards Azerbaijan?” Mammadov voiced the questions at the AzTV’s October 23 broadcast, according to Caliber.Az.

He said that after the First Karabakh War, Iran took an active part in the long-term plunder of the Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenians, taking out building materials and minerals from there.

“And during the 44-day Patriotic War, the Iranian side made several ultimata pro-Armenian statements, trying to be a corridor for the supply of weapons to Armenia.”

According to Mammadov, it was officially announced about "adequate measures" if Azerbaijani missiles hit the territory of Iran, that "if the Azerbaijani army enters the territory of Armenia, Tehran will not remain indifferent to this."

Iran's military drills along the Azerbaijani border and harsh statements against military-technical cooperation between Baku and Ankara are all links in the same chain.

“Iranian media constantly criticize and even insult Azerbaijan, and the armed forces have gathered their rusty weapons left over from the Shah's time for exercises along the Araz. Are you afraid, Iran?”

“The verses mentioned by Turkish President Erdogan that the Azerbaijani people are divided by Araz have raised 30 million Azerbaijanis living in South Azerbaijan to their feet. And if you start discussing who has more right to hate, Iran will lose,” the AzTV’s head concluded.
